UFC 114 was all about the grudge match between Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson and Rashad Evans. While Jackson was looked at as the favorite, it was Evans that came away with the one sided victory. It was a lopsided, unanimous win for Evans and sets the stage for a shot at the UFC Light Heavyweight title and the champion, Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua.
Evans dominated the fight from the get go and scored several knockdowns, with the first coming at about 2:30 in the first round. It was that agressiveness that kept Jackson off guard and it is Evans that will be moving on to the title shot.

Like every year, their prediction went superbly apt and Lee DeWyze, the paint salesman, was announced the new American Idol 2010 Season 9.
